Apple Raisin Ice Cream
Ingredients:
500 grams of red apples, peeled, cut into small dice
2 tablespoons lemon juice
75 grams sugar
½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
2 teaspoons powdered gelatine, stir in 2 tablespoons warm water
250 ml whipping cream
2 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons raisins
How to prepare:
1. Cook apples with sugar and lemon juice until wilted. Remove, let cool.
2. Toss with cinnamon and a solution of gelatine until blended. Set aside.
3. Beat whipping cream until soft and thick.
4. Add milk and mix apples and stir well.
5. Pour into a plastic bowl with a lid, store in freezer for 4 hours.
6. Remove from freezer and stir with a spoon or food processor until smooth grains of ice.
7. Add raisins and stir well.
8. Put back in the container with a lid and store in freezer until frozen
Tips:
- Use Red Delicious red apples are sweet and crunchy for more fresh flavor of ice cream.
- In addition to raisins to give the sensation of crunchy, Nestle cornflakes can be used as mixtures thereof.
